| Cynthia began exploring her interest in gem stones about ten years ago, by taking gemology classes in Scottsdale with Sindi Schloss of International Gemological Services. She has taken all offered colored stone identification and diamond grading classes. Her deepened knowledge of gem stones led to an explosion of creative ideas and an obsession with design.
This obsession has compelled her to learn jewelry-making arts. She has completed a number of classes at the Revere Academy, including wax carving, casting, platinum casting, fabrication, and design. She continues to learn by taking classes and working to improve her design and fabrication skills. She recently was quoted "I expect this learning will continue the rest of my life." Until she transitions into a full-time jewelry design career, She is a self-employed corporate lawyer. She holds a J.D. from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Management: Finance/Economics form Mundelein College. She resides with her companion and helper "Chance" in Phoenix, Arizona |
